Summary:
To win a bet with his sister, 16 year old Darren transfers to a private school for a semester to prove he's not gay. He attends Midnight Durton HSPVA (High School for Performing and Visual Arts), filled with a 95% gay population. What wierd things will lie beyond those gates?

Monochrome Dreams was first drawn when I was in 7th grade. The characters were first designed then, and they havn't changed too much since then. Every so often after I designed the characters, a story line developed, but I never wrote it down. I think it was much different than what I'm planning now; however, I think the plot I have now is much more interesting than the one a few years ago. There were many changes and I've already went through a redraw session before my 10th page. The story is currently drawn completely with pencils to save time. As much as I would like to ink, tone, and color on the computer, I simply do not have the time. I'd do well for up to a month, but updates would start to slow. I'd probably only update every 2 weeks if I Cged my pages. I rather get the story out to people first and POSSIBLY redraw the entire series from beginning to end later.

Where Do All These Ideas Come From?
I've always been fascinated with boarding and private schools since I was little, and it has been intensified ever since my discovery of manga and anime. The characters' personalities resemble those of people I know/knew in real life. The story line was inspired by the many shoujo, shounen ai, and yaoi I've read, wahahaha =D. The school is an ACTUAL school that I've seen. (the name isn't exact) That school has the most unique, diverse, and strangest student body I've ever seen. I thought it was the coolest school ever XD. (and I still think so)
